Celebrated World Autism Awareness Day 2009

To mark the second ‘World Autism Awareness Day’   ‘Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children' (SWAC),   organized a General Discussion,  and Cultural Programme on 2^nd April 2009  at Social Service Department Auditorium, Sher e Bangla Nagar, Agargaon, Dhaka.  

Mr. Enamul Haq Mustafa Shaheed, Honourable Minister of Social Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, was present as the Chief Guest and, Mr. Sitangshu Sen, Director General, Social Service Department, Mr Monsur Ahmed Choudhuri, Managing Director, Jatiyo Protibondhi Unnayan Foundation (JPUF), Mr. Khandaker Jahurul Alam, President, NFOWD were present as Special Guests of the occasion. 

Engr. Anwar Hossain, Chairman, SWAC presided over the occasion. 

Vice Chairman Naquib Khan, Secretary Farhana Rahman, Joint Secretary AYM Saidur Rahman, treasurer Subarna Chakma, Executive Member Brig. General Zakir Hossain, Dr Shiraji Munira Choudhury, Principal Sabina Hossain and other members, staff and parents were present at the programme.
