Workshop on Understanding Autism at Rangamati

In order to raise  Awareness on autism ‘Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children' (SWAC) in cooperation with Himawanti, Rangamati  organized a day long workshop on ‘Understanding Autism’ on 14 August, 2009 at Tribal Cultural Institute Auditorium, Rangamati.

Chakma Raja Barrister Debashish Roy, Chief Chakma Circle was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Sourendranath  Chakrabarty, Deputy Commissioner, Rangamati was present as a special guest.

The workshop was conducted by Sabina Hossain, Honorary Principal, SWAC, Sayeda Ali, Psychologist and  Shakila Islam, Teacher, SWAC.

Engr. Anwar Hossain, Chairman, SWAC, presided over the occasion. He also handed over crests to the Chief Guest and Special Guest for their cooperation to SWAC.

Subarna Chakma, Treasurer, Md. Mofijul Islam, Project Manager, Prerona Project, SWAC, Tuku Talukder, Chairperson, Himawanti,  and others were present at the occasion.
